The fibre of the future. Sappi Verve Advantage provides the world with a pulp developed specifically for the Lyocell market and its derivatives. Strict tolerances within narrow defined specifications are adhered to , to ensure a fibre and ultimate textile which is sustainable through certified wood as a source and the processes used to create these fibres.

Verve Performer
The mainstay of the Rayon industry is Viscose Staple Fibre. VSF provides more than 80% of the global wood based cellulosic fibre used in a variety of applications within both the textiles and non-wovens industry. Sappi Verve Performer provides a high performance viscose grade pulp tailored to this high volume industry.

Sappi is by far the largest non-integrated producer of Viscose pulp and has been so for decades. Our product and the technical competence of our mills and personnel are unparalleled and we pride ourselves on producing a superb fit for use product across the globe.

Viscose fibre is a versatile cellulose based fibre used in a myriad of applications such as textiles, non-wovens and sponges. In textiles, the fibre is characterised by its breathability, lightness, softness, inelasticity and absorbency.

Why Verve Elements
Verve Elements provides a natural and renewable feedstock with sustainability at its core. Process and our products comply with strict performance guidelines which include the presence of contaminants and non-desirable elements within the final product. Our pulp is manufactured under a focused methodology whereby Elements is produced under a controlled environment, in isolation to our other range of pulps and custom designed for each specific end use.
What is Verve Elements
Our Verve Elements is a specialty range of products produced and customer designed for each end use. Whether this end use is MCC. Ethers or other specialty industry, each grade is tailor made to ensure performance, application and ease of use. The pulp meets the most stringent of customer requirements and our facility is regularly and comprehensively audited.

Elements provides a tailored functionality adapted to a specific industry and customer requirement whether this be in product attributes such as viscosity, contaminants or purity, in format either reels or sheets or in distribution where we have a global footprint including storage facilities.

Matane Mill
Near the St. Lawrence River in the Matane region of Quebec, the Matane Mill is the newest addition to the Sappi North America family. The pulp produced here is a high-quality, high-yield bleached chemi-thermo mechanical pulp (BCTMP) made from either Aspen or Maple hardwood.
Cloquet Mill
Our integrated pulp and paper mill in Cloquet, Minnesota, is the most modern pulp mill operating in the US. By utilizing Continuous Batch Cooking, we are able to achieve extended delignification while maintaining high yield and strength properties.
Saiccor Mill
Saiccor Mill, a Sappi Pulp facility, produces world-class products in South Africa, where technology and infrastructure meet global demands. It is located 50 km south of Durban in KwaZulu-Natal.
Ngodwana Mill
Ngodwana Mill has been in operation since 1966 and entered the dissolving wood pulp (DP) market in 2013 with the conversion of part of the mill’s paper-grade pulp production to DP production.
