Join Our Team: Automation / Instrumentation Technician in Training FTC - 18 months
We’re looking for a motivated Technician in Training to support our team by assisting with project work, maintenance tasks, technical investigations, and management duties. This is a fantastic opportunity for growth and hands-on learning.
Training and Development (TIT Programme):
- Administrative Training
- OHS Act, Lockout, SAP, LMF 11, Bar Charts, Drawings, Rotable Procedures, MSG3 Maintenance Management.
- Practical Training
- SKF Bearings (Basic & Intermediate), Problem Solving/RCAs, Welding, Rigging, Hydraulics, Lubrication, Fault Finding.
- Plant-Specific Equipment
- Tailored training based on discipline: Instrumentation, DCS, QCS.
- Practical Experience
- Assist Technicians with daily tasks and projects.
- Step up as Shift Foreman for 3 weeks.
- Gain leadership experience as Maintenance Support, Foreman, or Superintendent for 3 weeks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Recognised Trade Test Certificate in Instrumentation.
- NQF 6 - National Diploma N6/S4 in Instrumentation.
- 5 years post-apprentice experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
