Dissolving wood pulp
A sustainable, and recyclable product derived from a renewable resource - wood, Verve dissolving wood pulp is focused on a number of key markets with a product offering tailored to each individual market segment : textiles, non-woven fibres, microcrystaline cellulose, ethers and sponges.

Verve Advantage
The fibre of the future. Sappi Verve Advantage provides the world with a pulp developed specifically for the Lyocell market and its derivatives. Strict tolerances within narrow defined specifications are adhered to , to ensure a fibre and ultimate textile which is sustainable through certified wood as a source and the processes used to create these fibres.
Verve Performer
The mainstay of the Rayon industry is Viscose Staple Fibre. VSF provides more than 80% of the global wood based cellulosic fibre used in a variety of applications within both the textiles and non- wovens industry. Sappi Verve Performer provides a high performance viscose grade pulp tailored to this high volume industry.
Verve Elements
Verve Elements provides a natural and renewable feedstock with sustainability at its core. Process and our products comply with strict performance guidelines which include the presence of contaminants and non desirable elements within the final product.
High-yield pulp
As packaging and specialty markets grow in this new global market, requirements for specialty pulps have developed into a need for quality, consistency and proven track record of pulps with a focus on specific characteristics. Whether these characteristics be opacity, bulk or whiteness, our high-yield pulps are recognised as the proven market leader in offering a quality solution across a spectrum of end uses. Our sustainably sourced, high-yield bleached chemi-thermo mechanical pulp (BCTMP) provides good bulk, excellent brightness and superior drainage.

Saiccor Mill
Saiccor Mill, a Sappi pulp facility, produces world-class products in South Africa, where technology and infrastructure meet global demands. It is located 50 km south of Durban in KwaZulu-Natal.
Ngodwana Mill
Ngodwana Mill has been in operation since 1966 and entered the dissolving pulp (DP) market in 2013 with the conversion of part of the mill’s paper-grade pulp production to DP production.
Cloquet Mill
Our integrated pulp and paper mill in Cloquet, Minnesota, is the most modern pulp mill operating in the US. By utilizing Continuous Batch Cooking, we are able to achieve extended delignification while maintaining high yield and strength properties.
Matane Mill
Near the St. Lawrence River in the Matane region of Quebec, the Matane Mill is the newest addition to the Sappi North America family.
The pulp produced here is a high-quality, high-yield bleached chemi-thermo mechanical pulp (BCTMP) made from either Aspen or Maple hardwood.
